We found Rita

We found Rita on her lunch break, chilling out on the gardens of Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. Rita is 21 and she came to Lisbon 4 years ago to study Energy and Environmental Engineering at Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon. Rita is from Vila Nova de Famalicão, where life is, in her words, "calmer". With the course of the conversation, she said: "In a city that almost never sleeps, sometimes there’s simply no time to stop and breathe. I like to come here. It’s quiet, it’s peaceful, it’s beautiful. I think that Lisbon should have more places like this...".

 Encontrámos a Rita na sua pausa para almoço, a relaxar nos jardins da Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian. A Rita tem 21 anos e veio viver para Lisboa há 4 anos, com o intuito de estudar Engenharia da Energia e do Ambiente, na Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa. É natural de Vila Nova de Famalicão onde a vida é, nas suas palavras, "mais calma". Com o desenrolar da conversa, a Rita confessou: "Numa cidade que quase não dorme, às vezes não há simplesmente tempo para parar e respirar. Eu gosto de vir aqui. É sossegado, tranquilo e lindo.
